J3 was originally the team leader of the elite B-Squad under Daydream Inc. Due to the involvement of Kwak Jaekwang, who sent B-Squad on a research project into Qterw-A-37 [And They All Lived Unhappily Ever After], J3 became heavily contaminated and the rest of his squad likely died (Chapter 108).
Trivia
•Qterw-A-37 and J3's contamination are likely tied to fairy tales and wolves, given his ability to take on wolf-like abilities and appearance. While consuming the ghost of Express Bus Terminal Station in the SDMB Taxi, he said "rude little lamb," "pig," and "red child"—references to The Wolf and the Lamb, The Three Little Pigs, and Little Red Riding Hood (Chapter 150).
