A mysterious private corporation that specializes in containment, clean-up, and mitigation of supernatural disasters. Field explorers are contracted to enter contaminated zones in exchange for high pay and "Wish Tickets". D Squad is the central explorer team oversaw by Lee Jaheon.
Supernatural Disaster Management Bureau (SDMB)
A government agency operating in the shadows. The Bureau regulates private containment companies like Daydream Inc., enforces reality preservation protocols, and covers up paranormal incidents to prevent public panic.
Anomalous Locations
Sekwang Special Metropolitan City
The primary setting of the series—a modern, bustling city masking a dangerous overlap with supernatural dimensions. Certain buildings, tunnels, and streets house secret containment zones sealed off from regular citizens.
Abyss Transpo
An anomalous transit corporation linked to haunted pocket dimensions, endless train tracks, and spectral buses. Explorers frequently encounter reality loops here where escaping requires solving specific puzzle constraints.
Supernatural Elements & Items
Ghost Rules
The absolute physical laws of ghost zones. In this horror universe, supernatural entities cannot kill at random; they must abide by a set of strict, logic-defying rules. Explorers must identify these rules quickly; violating one results in instant death.
Anomalies (J3 & The Black Cat)
The reality-warping spirits and entities that infest contaminated zones. J3 and other classifications represent the severity of containment difficulty. The Black Cat is one of the mysterious entities Soleum encounters.
Kind Seed Kit
A containment tool kit and tactical item class used by Field Explorers to ward off lesser entities or temporarily anchor loose space-time coordinates during escapes.
