The SDMB Taxi is a Bureau-operated supernatural vehicle used to transport restless ghosts to designated resting sites (such as Sajiyuk Cemetery), concluding a haunting once the ghost is delivered.
Directions
The driver receives a destination and an estimated arrival time; the ghost must be delivered to its resting location for the phenomenon to end.
Taxi Radio
The taxi is fitted with a radio that can inadvertently connect to supernatural broadcasts—most notably Braun's Late-Night Talk Show. The radio can be used to distract a passenger ghost, though it cannot always be turned off at will.
Passenger
Ghosts placed in the taxi may act out (screaming, demanding attention, asking to be let out early) during transit.
History
Kim Soleum was tasked with using the SDMB Taxi to escort the ghost of [Express Bus Terminal Station] to Sajiyuk Cemetery, with Agent Bronze assisting. During the drive the ghost tried to make him look back; Kim Soleum used the Taxi Radio (which connected to Braun's show) to keep his attention forward. J3 eventually boarded and "ate" the ghost, ending its activity, and the delivery was completed (Chapters 148–151).
