Death Lane
Location Lore & Overview
[■■■ 16th Avenue], also referred to as **[Death Lane]**, is a C-Rank ghost story used by Daydream Inc. It is located in Gyeonggi Province and can be accessed by scanning a QR code, which directs the user to download an app certified by the ■■ City local government. You must be under 40 years old to download the app.
While in Death Lane, you can see dead friends, family members who disappeared in childhood, victims of major accidents, etc. Attempting to walk out leads to alleys that grow narrower until you can no longer fit through them. The primary way to escape is by completing the Death Lane Step Count Challenge of 10,000 steps (Chapter 89). Each alley has its own theme (Chapter 90); for app users, a new alley appears every thousand steps and the user can choose whether to enter (Chapter 94).
Specific stores hold importance across other ghost stories: the Boutique Back Alley is where Kim Soleum bought a silver ring to survive the [Tamra Express Disaster] (Chapter 91), and the Sweet Stationary is where the Blue Dragon Mascot of [Cheerful Theme Park!] sold the Good Child Chocolate Bar to locate Kim Soleum (Chapter 93). Kim Soleum, Jang Heowoon, and Kang Yihak also found a student wearing the uniform of Sekwang Technical High School from the ghost story [Within the Shadow of Darkness].

Complete Disappearance Record
An exploration team member reported paying for lodging at the Goldfish Eyes Inn with a dead body, then: "The sun is rising... The sun is burning the alley! It's on fire! Everything's burning, everyone's running! I can't esc-" (connection lost).
Way of Escape
Supervisor Park Dojeong got into a scuffle with a merchant, sustaining three hairline rib fractures and a destroyed phone, but successfully returned after seizing a civilian's phone.

Occasionally a door on the opposite side of a shop is discovered. Entering is strongly discouraged—to date, no return records exist.
History
Employee ■■■ bought a ring from the Boutique Back Alley and used it to survive the [Tamra Express Disaster]. The Blue Dragon Mascot of [Cheerful Theme Park!] sold the Good Child Chocolate Bar to spread missing-child posters of Kim Soleum via Sweet Stationary; it mistook Lee Jaheon for a kidnapper but was appeased by Kim Soleum, who promised to return to the park. Kim Soleum and Lee Jaheon later use the [Hellfare Taxi] to escape [Death Lane] (Chapter 96).
