Section Chief Lee Jaheon, also called Lizard or Chief Lizard, is the leader of D Squad within Daydream Inc. and an affiliate of the Space Shopping Mall (Alien Shop).

Appearance
Said to be shockingly handsome—his team (Eun Haje and Park Minseong) joke he doesn't look like the same species as them. Kim Soleum sees his true form: a lizard's head with white skin and red vertical-pupil eyes. He dresses in a perfectly fitted black suit with an employee ID, looking like a polished office worker, and wears a white lizard mask.
Personality
Follows rules literally with no flexibility and does not understand metaphor or sarcasm, taking every sentence at face value. He answers most things with "I see," "Yes," "No," or no response, and doesn't elaborate unless asked. Eun Haje notes he is not the type to be assertive in pushing issues (e.g., after Daydream Inc.'s poor handling of the Tuesday Quiz Show).
History — [Chorus of the Sacrificial Lambs]
First mentioned in Chapter 7 as being on-site. Still on a field assignment in Chapter 10; his team entered the Tuesday Quiz Show (Dusk/D Class) without him. After it transformed into the Chorus of the Sacrificial Lambs, Kim Soleum called him for help; he launched a battery through the Darkness and pierced one of the Butcher's silver trays, letting Kim Soleum save the D-squad. He meets Kim Soleum in person in Chapter 14 over a team dinner, suggests using points to make special equipment, lends his own gear, and seems to recognize the Silver Snake coin.

Employee D — Nickname: Lizard — Final position: Team Leader. One of the few combat specialists in the Field Exploration Team, known for solving ghost stories (which usually need wit and strategy) by brute force. *"If the body suffers, the mind suffers even more, isn't that right?"* Conversely, when his brute force doesn't work, it signifies true doom.

As leader of Team D he feels responsible for his team's survival and cares for them in his own quiet way. He is part of "Us" and shares his memories with them. Many Bureau members (Agent Choi, Agent Bronze, Agent Haegeum) have tried to recruit him for his strength; he refuses every time. He dislikes Braun (mutual) and often urges Kim Soleum to sever his connection to Braun. He is wary of Director Cheong Dallae and advised Kim Soleum to refuse her offer to join an Elite Team.
