Location Lore & Overview

[Cheerful Theme Park!] is a B-Rank ghost story first explored by a combined expedition of A Squad, D Squad, and the round-off team Y Squad. It was purposely arranged by Kwak Jaekwang so that only A Squad would survive (Chapter 18). It requires more than 10 people to enter and splits them into three color-coded teams. The method of entry involves interacting with a board game created by the Cheerful Research Institute.

It was famous within <Dark Exploration Records> for its peculiar and horrific nature, with pop-up stores and a cult following (Chapter 19). It has a civilian survival rate of 2%.

Kim Soleum gained the :Socius: tattoo from the Blue Dragon Mascot after his first visit, plus the Good Friend item later used to summon Braun from the [Tuesday Quiz Show] (Chapter 24), and the Blue Soda Churros, which let him temporarily be free of contamination while in Braun's Late-Night Talk Show (Chapter 123).

Dark Exploration Records Entry

An amusement park within a board game themed around various fantasy lands. If you use three major attractions after entering this ghost story, you can return home. This ghost story became more famous because of the supplemental booklet titled 'Cheerful Theme Park User Guide', written by people who played the game in a state of delirium.

Civilian Report

While playing a board game during a club retreat at Hanmaeumgadeuk Pension in Gangwon-do, all 12 university students went missing. The game is presumed to be a Cheerful Research Institute creation trademarked 'Cheerful Theme Park! ~Joyful Fantasyland Adventure~'. Survivors said the board game was 'already placed inside the pension'; the owner denies this. After 17 hours some returned, testifying to 'living inside a theme park within the board game', with delusions, PTSD, and neuroses. **Survivors: 4 / Missing: 1 / Deceased: 7.**

Cheerful Theme Park User Guide (up to Exploration Record #64)

Keep your admission wristband clean! If lost or damaged, you are no longer a guest—you become an intruder (or an employee).
Stay together with same-color teammates! If more than 5 meters apart while not riding an attraction, you will be strangled/executed.
Refrain from crying, wailing, or screaming—negative emotions don't suit the cheerful theme park.
Each zone is colored by theme; the zone where you first open your eyes is your team's zone. Don't upset the mascots—the mascots are everything in the zone.
Enjoy the various zones! If the mascot or attraction color changes, you're in a new zone; mascots from other zones can't exist there, so say goodbye warmly.
The theme park is a shared space—follow proper etiquette. Countless eyes are watching and no one forgets anything.
Cheer for the parade with a joyful expression! Everything during the parade is pleasant and *never* negative.

Known Attractions

**Magic Bunny Arcade Zone** — Fantasy Train (a train ride to meet the residents and stories of each area)
**Blue Dream Waterland** — Blue Mountain
**Flower Golden Resort**

Testimony #4 (Survivor: Park Yae-in)

All four who boarded the 'Fantasy Train' went missing. Later, their clothes and bones were found repurposed into plush dolls at a souvenir shop. (Presumed deceased)

Tomato Express Record

Right after boarding the basket-shaped 'Tomato Express', a label was found inside. The emergency stop button was located at the attraction's starting point, but all attempts to press it failed (Executor: Assistant Manager Lee Jiwon / Attempts: 6). All participants perished.

History

In the Magic Bunny Fantasy Train attraction, it is said a yellow flower, a blue dragon, and a red rabbit once lived together 403930291928494 hours ago, but began to fight because they couldn't accept each other. The red rabbit decided to eliminate his friends-turned-enemies by any means—dropping them into pits, drowning them, or pushing them off cliffs (Chapter 20)—successfully chasing out the other mascots, forcing the Blue Dragon Mascot out of its territory and killing the Flower Golden Mascot (Chapters 21, 25). It is later revealed the Magic Red Bunny Mascot got out of its suit at night to infiltrate other mascots' zones, which is how it killed the original Flower Golden Mascot (Chapter 179).
